Coke Kills and Pepsi snags LEED Silver Certification

ReliablePlant.com announced that "PepsiCo's Chicago office announced on December 4 that its downtown corporate plaza has received the prestigious Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Silver Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC)."

Way to go, Pepsi!
I've been trying to keep track of all the accusations that Coke has had to endure, (maybe you remember the Killer Coke protest? It didn't seem to amount to very much!). And now there is a silver lining as the 'other' Cola giant has been recognized for going green.

And let's keep it the environment. I think if Pepsi decides to go green as in 'a green-colored cola' they will be in for a world of hurt. Bleaughghgh.

That being said, you can read about Sobe's Mr. Green Soda here.

The world is paying more and more attention to preserving the environment.
Thanks for the effort, Pepsi!
Now don't go raising your prices to subsidize the effort!
